TIRANA, Nov 18 – Italian chief prosecutor Piero Grasso was on a visit to Albania where he met with Albanian counterpart Ina Rama and also Interior Minister Bujar Nishani.
In his meeting with Rama they both agreed to simplify the collaboration and the documentation used by both countries in their fight against organized crime.
Nishani also said that the success of the fight against criminal organization in his country was also the result of the close collaboration with neighboring Italy and other countries.
Grasso said, however, that the collaboration between the two countries should be further intensified by increasing the exchange of information.
In his meeting with Albanian Justice Minister Enkelejd Alibeaj they both hailed the good execution of the court verdicts from both countries and their cooperation on this issue.
