TIRANA, Dec 22 – A journalist of Albania daily newspaper was attacked last Friday by a group of four persons.
Luan Kondi, vice editor-in-chief and head of the chronicle department of the daily, was attacked at the main door of his job by four persons who later left with a car.
The publisher of the newspaper, Ylli Rakipi, said the attack was politically motivated as the paper had become critical of the government.
Police said they had detained a person adding that was a personal friction between him and the victim.
