Journalists rewarded with end of year prizes

TIRANA, Dec. 24 – The Albanian League of Journalists on Wednesday distributed a series of prizes for the best journalists.
It started with the Vangjush Gambeta prize for career accomplishments which was received by the senior media professor Hamit Borici and also Agron Cobani.
The best reporting Vangjush Gambeta prize was awarded to Telnis Skuqi, reporter of the Albanian News Agency ATA in southern Gjirokastra city for his article “Where small business pays the big tax.”
The best radio reporting prize went to Aferdita Selimi of Radio Tirana station for her report “Taxation on income, does it impoverish or enrich.”
The Vangjush Gambeta prize for the best television reporting went to Florian Papadhimitri of TV Koha for his look at the debate on business issues.
The competition was sponsored by the ” JTI, Office Albania- Corporate Affairs” company.
