TIRANA, Nov. 23 – Ismail Kadare’s essay Inevitable Dante (or Albania’s short history with D’Ante Alighieri) has been published in France from the Fayard publishing house that has normally covered the writer’s works. The book was translated into French from the violin player Tedi Papavrami. It was eagerly taken from the Albanian readers and that was reflected in the French press as well that has considered a great element the way that the writer has found to link his tiny Balkan country with the best Italian poet. Onufri printing house, which has Kadare’s exclusivity in Albania, said that his other work Hamlet, the difficult prince is also being translated into French and English.
