Kosova names ambassador to Albania, other countries

PRISHTINA, Sep 1 – Last week, Kosova named ten diplomats to represent the new country in Europe and the United States, including Albania.
Kosovo will have two ambassadors in the United States and one in each of the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Austria, Turkey and Albania.
Kosova declared independence from Serbia on February 17, despite opposition from Serbia and Russia.
Kosova has since been recognized by more than 40 states, including the U.S. and most countries in the European Union.
