Kosovo, Albania Ombudsmen sign cooperation memorandum

PRISHTINA, Sep 22 – Sami Kurteshi, Ombudsman of the Republic of Kosovo (APK) signed a cooperation memorandum with his Albania’s counterpart, Ermir Dobjani, aiming to pave the way and foster stronger representation and rights of citizens vis-a-vis public institutions in transparency and flexibility.
After the signing the agreement both officials vowed to continue strengthening the cooperation in other fields, seminars, experience and support. The cooperation bridge has widened since the establishment of the institutions.
The agreement is the last result of intense cooperation and official visits between both officials between Prishtina and Tirana.
Dobjani had several important meetings with Kosovo institutions; the President, Parliament Speaker, Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court, etc.
