Kurum employs 100 more persons at the steel plant

ELBASAN, Aug. 7 – The Turkish steel company Kurum employed 100 more persons in the new plant of steel products opened recently. Managers said they would employ former workers of the big industrial mill who are now unemployed. The total number of workers in the plant will go to 340. the new plant cost $1 million and that would reduce in half the import of 40,000 tons of iron profiles that Kurum took from Ukraine, Turkey and Greece.
