Law enforcement authorities want harsher punishment for corrupt officials

TIRANA, June 9 – Senior law enforcement authorities stressed last week that there should be harsher punishments for all officials involved in corruption cases. Vice Interior Minister Gent Strazimiri and top police official Ahmet Pren詠took part in the annual review of the Prosecutor General’s office, which they have recently established closer cooperation with in the fight against organized crime and corruption.(Tirana Times Staff)
