Minority students get Greek books

TIRANA, Nov 9 – Greece supplied its ethnic minority pupils in southern Gjirokastra district with some 22 subjects in the Greek language.
Providing them with school books in Greek has been a continuous request from Athens, often mentioning that as one of shortcomings of Albania’s human rights towards the Greek minority.
The books in Greek were brought to the southern city after being published in Greece.
The main ethnic Greek minority villages are in southern Gjirokastra district.
