TIRANA, Dec. 26 – A 40-year old man was shot dead in downtown Tirana, police reported.
Artur Doku was killed after being shot six times.
Police immediately arrested Hasan Jonuzi, 62, who they believe is the main suspect in the murder.
It was learned that Doku and Jonuzi had quarreled prior to Doku being murdered.
In another case in the southwestern Vlora district, Enkelejda Ismaili, 21, was found dead near the shore in Onufer. She was eight months pregnant.
Experts believe she was murdered a day earlier. One of the suspects is a man living in the area who is believed to have been close to the victim.
