Mustafaj meets with new British ambassador

TIRANA, Dec. 11 – Foreign Minister Besnik Mustafaj met Monday with new British Ambassador to Albania Fraser Wilson discussing on how the two countries could intensify their relations. Albania and Britain have very good relations not only in the general context of political economic ties, but also and especially in public order, judiciary, fight against organized crime and so on. Mustafaj told the ambassador that Britain’s support in the country’s integration efforts into the EU and NATO was essential and said that Britain would soon ratify the Stabilization and Association Agreement Albania signed with EU in June. They also discussed on developments in Kosova and its final status.
