TIRANA, April 17 – Albanian businesses and households are one of the region’s strongest believers of political connections as a factor behind success, according to a survey by London-based European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Almost one out of two Albanians think political connections are more important than hard work or intelligence and skills, slightly higher than the average trend among EU aspirant Western Balkan countries.
