TIRANA – The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and the Council of Europe again urged Albanian politicians to resume talks to end the deadlock over local elections.
“We urge the leaders of all political parties to … demonstrate the highest possible degree of responsibility in the search for an agreement. This is in the clear interest of Albania and its international reputation,” said a joint statement of the OSCE and the Council of Europe, which are to send a mission to Albania later this week.
