TIRANA, Feb. 7 – The Albanian Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports and the OSCE Presence in Albania signed Wednesday a memorandum of understanding on promoting the code of ethics in preventing sexual exploitation of children in tourism. It aims at creating a code of behavior for the tourist operators to prevent the sexual exploitation of the children. The new code will be based on the international codes used from ECPAT and supported from the UNICEF and the World Tourism Organization (www.thecode.org). These institutions monitor the code of behaviour application in 55 OSCE member countries.
