Police prevents illegal border crossing into Greece

GJIROKASTRA, Dec 8 – During November, police stopped 291 persons from illegally crossing the border into neighboring Greece. The arrests occurred at only the three border crossing points in the Gjirokastra district.
Four persons have been indicted for assisting in the trafficking.
Four other persons were arrested in Fieri city for charging up to 2800 Euros from each person upon crossing the Greek border.
At the time, they were assisting young men crossing the border.
