Police, prosecutors get advocacy training

TIRANA, March 8 – The US government on Monday donated equipment to the Albanian Police School.
The government donated to the Police School 15 TV sets and 15 personal computers that will be used during the training conferences of the students.
Ambassador John L. Withers hoped the equipment would help training of the new policemen whom he said had an important duty for their country. The ambassador said that their education at school was of fundamental importance in their preparation.
Upon expressing the gratitude to the US project headed by ICITAP Interior Minister Lulzim Basha spoke about the school training, the fight against organized crime, integrated border management and that of human resources, and the development of the information technology.
