Rama at the international prosecutors’ meeting

TIRANA, Sep 1 – Prosecutor General Ina Rama took part at the annual assembly of the International Association of Prosecutors held in Singapore.
The meeting discussed international cooperation in the fight against crimes including information technology, internet and computers, terrorism, manipulation of bank data and accounts, child pornography and others.
Computer crime recognizes no boundaries and it needs closer cooperation to effectively combat it, experts noted.
During the meeting, Rama met with many prosecutors. She also met with representatives of EUROJUST to discuss cooperation with the European Union prosecutor offices and to receive assistance from the group.
