TIRANA, June 10 – David Brown, 57, who has been accused of sexually abusing children at an Albanian orphanage, continues to attract much attention by British media.
Recently, Brown lost his bid to have a judge removed from the case, while he continues to claim he is not receiving a fair trial. His defense claimed Judge Gerd Hoxha “was not impartial” and asked for a replacement. The request was denied.
Brown, from Edinburgh, has been under arrest for two years and vehemently denies the charges.
Dino Christodoulou, 44, from Blackburn, Lancashire, and Robin Arnold, 55, of Cromer, Norfolk, were also deported to Albania to face trial in connection with the charges.
