Senior officials under investigation for corruption

TIRANA, Jan. 28 – Two senior officials of the Albanian Electro-Energy Corporation, or KESH, are being investigated on alleged corruption charges.
Artan Topi and Rexhep Lamce, both top KESH official in the eastern district of Librazhd, are being investigated for possible financial and economic crimes.
In a separate case Faik Fejzo, the head of Kashar commune, is being investigated by prosecutors for alleged abuse while in his post.
Fejzo, head of the commune from 2003-2007, was accused of illegally profiting through buying and selling land and construction permits.
