TIRANA, Jan. 23 – Donato Grecco, an Italian sentenced to 9 years imprisonment in Albania, was extradited to Italy to serve his term there. Grecco, 41, a resident in Valenza, was sentenced by the Durres court for trafficking drugs to Albania. In another operation Interpol Tirana made known that two Albanians who were under an international arrest warrant were arrested in the Netherlands and Germany and are expected to be extradited to Albania soon. Martin Biba, sentenced to 20 years imprisonment for murder, was found in the Netherlands. Nerim Merkola, sentenced to 25 years imprisonment for murder, was arrested in Germany. Interpol Tirana made known Wednesday that Ilirian Arapi, 34, was extradited from Germany. The Durres court had sentenced Arapi to 16 years imprisonment for murder in 1999. Arapi killed Ylli Xhaja.
