VLORA, Jan. 14 – Police held a wide operation in the Vlora district achieving good results Sunday when they blocked a 5.5 meter long boat, two engines and 221 kilograms of pressed cannabis sativa. Police arrested two persons accused of drug trafficking. The boat and the drugs were found at Pylli I Poros at the Lerat e Zeza spot where police arrested Toni Kushi, 36, and Petraq Lalaj, 37, both residents of the surrounding areas. The drug was found only about 100 meters away from the boat. Police believed the drugs were destined for Italy.
