Thaci awarded with high medal from Albanian president

TIRANA, June 20 – Kosovar Prime Minister Hashim Thaci was awarded the Gjergj Kastrioti Skenderbeu medal by Albanian President Bamir Topi for his role in Kosova’s independence and in building the new state. Thaci paid a three-day visit to Albania, the first to Albania from independent Kosova. Thaci paid respect to efforts of Albania’s top officials in lobbying throughout the world for Kosova’s independence. (Tirana Times Staff)
