Three new projects for Albania’s health system to start

TIRANA, Dec. 13 – During the Day of Puglia in Tirana it was said that three new projects of 7 million Euro on health system in the country will start next week. The three projects are funded from INTERREG III Albania-Italy of the European Union through the Regional Sanitary Agency of Puglia. The three projects will last two years. They aim at improving health system in the country and bringing it closer to the required levels of the bloc. New equipment will be installed in many hospitals around the country. The epidemiological observatory hospital will be opened and the new training and information system will be created. Minister Maksim Cikuli said the project will be followed with other investment from the government to install the same equipment in all the country’s hospitals.
