TIRANA, June 13 – The Tirana International Airport recently hosted the first fashion exhibition by designer Manjola Mu诠Kalaja. Twenty evening dresses created by the young Albanian artist were presented on stage by well-known public personalities in Albanian society, media representatives and TIA employees, among others.
“It is a pleasure for us to welcome this fashion event at our airport. TIA is always engaged in supporting social initiatives, including art. Although operating in a different field, our objective is to bring people together and one of the best ways to reach this is through art. And, as you can witness, this is a special experience,” said Rolf Castro-Vasquez, TIA Chief Operations Officer.
Last year’s upgrade to its infrastructure facilities have turned the Tirana International Airport into an excellent location for such events.
An expansion of the passenger terminal is set to begin in the coming months. (Tirana Times Staff)
