TIRANA, Dec 17 – The Tirana district court has decided that some former top officials who are witnesses at the trial of Remzi Hoxha, the Albanian-Macedonian businessman who disappeared in 1995, should be summoned by force to testify.
Former vice interior minister Agim Shehu and ex-head of secret police Shik Fatos Klosi have not responded to previous calls by the court to testify at the trial, which has involved some top officials of the intelligence service accusing them of killing the businessman.
That decision also covers a businessman named Flamur Reci, who has also not responded to the court’s calls before.
