TIRANA, Dec. 22 – Parliament Speaker Jozefina Topalli held a visit to neighboring Macedonia last week discussing on the goal of both countries to get integrated into NATO next year and also on Kosova.
Topalli met with all Macedonian top personalities, including her counterpart Lubisa Georgievski, President Branko Crvenkovski, Foreign Minister Antonijo Milosovski and other ones.

“We should continue our political and diplomatic efforts. It is improtnat that the required standards are fulfilled doing all we can,” said Topalli.
Kosova was the other main topic of discussion. Topalli said that Tirana supported the Ahtisaari Package, which was also mentioned by Crvenkovski.
“If the Security Council will find no solution our stand will be in accordance with that of the U.S., NATO and the European Union,” said Crvenkovski.
Topalli also mentioned the idea that Macedonia lifts the visa to Albanians, something that wiuld help the economic, tourist and cultural exchange between them.
Officials also discussed on the AMBO oil project and the Corridor 8 which passes through them.
