TIRANA, Sep. 7 – President Bamir Topi sent a letter to the family of the late Italian tenor Luciano Pavarotti on Friday saying that the world lost a legend and an ambassador of peace.

“The divine voice of this ambassador of peace turned lyric music into a hymn that toppled the walls of big opera halls to take the joy to the people making that music more popular, listened and touchable,” wrote the letter sent to Mrs. Mantovani.

“God bless you Maestro! Tonight no one will die. ‘Nessun Dorma’,” he wrote referring to one of the best interpreted lyrics from Pavarotti.
