TIRANA, Oct 6 – The U.S. police expert who analyzed the death of businessman Kosta Trebicka said that his death was accidental.
The report again urged politics to start accusing each other. This time the governing Democratic party asked the opposition leaders they had to ask pardon to Trebicka’s family and the country for hinting that was possibly a murder linked to the march 15 blast in the ammunition disposal factory which killed 26 and injured 300 people.
Prime Minister Sali Berisha, on his side, denied he had any information on the Gerdec factory.
Berisha also denied in a talk show that his son had any information or link to the Defense Ministry business with a private company on the ammunition disposal.
The premier also appealed to let the prosecutors calm to investigate the case.
Berisha also denied that the Gerdec blast or issue was linked with the alleged arms scandal of the U.S. AEY company that bought Chinese ammunition in Albania to be taken to Afghanistan, something that has accused AEY’s owner Efraim Diveroli with many charges in his deal with the Pentagon.
