Turkish arrested for alleged drug traffic

TIRANA, Feb. 17 – Police reported Wednesday they had arrested a Turkish citizen traveling to Germany.
Muhamet Omer Goek, 29, born in Germany, had double citizenship, Turkish and German.
Albanian police arrested Goek based on an international arrest warrant issued from Interpol Wiesbaden.
He is accused of drug trafficking as he is proved to have transported during ten months in 2005 some 21 kilograms of cannabis sativa from the Netherlands to Germany in 11 cases.
In another operation police arrested Doriana Agim Brika, 33, an Albanian, as the Italian Milan Appeals court had sentenced her to 14 years imprisonment also for trafficking drugs.
While in Shkodra police arrested Sokol Pal Pjollaj, 19, also for distributing drugs.
