TIRANA, Jan. 25 – Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul is to visit Tirana next week in an effort to boost bilateral relations, diplomatic sources in Tirana said. Gul’s visit is also to prepare the trip to Tirana from Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in mid-March. Turkey is one of Albania’s main economic partners and a supporter to the tiny Balkan country’s efforts to establish closer ties with NATO.
