TIRANA, Oct 5 – Albania’s Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ilir Meta had a meeting with Turkey’s Ambassador to Albania, Hasan Asan, to talk about bilateral ties and other issues.
The Albanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement in which it said the two countries have close cooperation and perfect relations that would further improve security, peace and economy in the region.
Asan said Turkey’s Foreign Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, was willing to visit Tirana soon upon an invitation by Meta.
Davutoglu will visit Albania before Turkish President Abdullah Gul’s scheduled trip to this country due on December 10-11.
