TIRANA, Dec. 7 – Albania’s capital has put up more decorations than ever before for the Holiday Season this year.

The new heart of the celebrations is  Mother Teresa Square, where a Christmas/New Year tree-lighting ceremony took place Sunday night, headed by Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj. The mayor says the decorations will also extend across the city, not just in the downtown area.
