“Sofra Tiranase” organized today

TIRANA, Dec. 4 -“Sofra Tiranase” (Tirana Hospitality Table) will be held today at the Palace of Congresses, organized each year by the Cultural Association of Tirana. This year the audience will be entertained by an open show filled with humor mainly from comedians of the capital and central Albanian tradition. After the year 2000, the show has evolved into a more professional performance including music and dances and attracting a larger and more diverse audience. “Sofra Tiranase 2007” will include a novel combination of pop music and folk tunes through the best artists, such as Merita halili, Artiola Toska and others. Dances will also be performed. The organizers will award the special honorary prize, “Tirana 2007”, continuing a tradition of recognizing figures who make a special contribution.
