Muntaz Dhrami becomes 70 year old

TIRANA, Nov. 10 – People’s Sculptor Muntaz Dhrami celebrated Friday evening his 70th birthday among friends and colleagues at the Gallery of Arts covered with his works over the last 16 years. Dhrami is one of the best sculptors in the country with many works spread all around the country. “I continue to cover historic personalities, lyric thematic but now they are more pluralistic,” said Dhrami. Dhrami is author or co-author of the monumental works like that of independence in Vlore, Mother Teresa in Tirana, Obelisk in Gjirokastra and that of Drashovica, Ali Pashe Tepelena and now he is working for the monument of Lasgush Poradeci in Pogradec. Dhrami has graduated in Saint Petersburg in Russia.
