Cannabis and a speedboat found in Vlora

VLORA, July 23 – Police said Sunday they had arrested a person who owned a speedboat and some 300 kilograms of cannabis found in it. Police found the drugs and the six-meter long speedboat in the Bay of Bristan, Karaburun area. The drug was in six packages of 50 kilograms each. Halo Ibro, 47, resident in Orikum was the arrested person. Police said that the drugs was destined to Italy, which together with Greece remain the close targets of drug trafficking toward western Europe.
