TIRANA, May. 8 – David Lynch, among America’s best known directors, released his classic movie, “Blue Velvet”, in 1986 and its intriguing plot captured the attention of a very wide audience. The movie revolves around a man returning to his hometown after being away and his discovering a severed human ear in a field. Not satisfied with the police investigation, he and the detective’s daughter carry out their own investigation. The object of the investigation turns out to be a beautiful and mysterious woman involved with a violent and perverse man. Marubi has brought to Albanian audiences several off-Hollywood classics such as Pedro Almadovar’s “Carne Tremula” and other icon directors such as Jim Jarmusch.
