New exhibition of Albanian folk culture to open at National Historic Museum

TIRANA, July 26 – The National Historic Museum will open its exhibition of Albanian Folk Culture which will introduce elements of folk culture from around the country.

The exhibition, which is to open Tuesday next week, will include folk costumes, Albanian jewelry, manufactured items, home items, music, working and war tools, and other objects representing both rural and urban areas.

The museum has become a center for introducing the cultural development of Albania.

In June the museum reported having 1,071 visitors which included 288 foreigners. Also, some 1,700 visitors were granted free admission.
