TIRANA, Aug. 12 – Producer Dhimiter Anagnosti has complained that his movies and many others have seriously suffered from piracy and they have earned very little money due to the piracy.
Anagnosti said that original copies of their movies were kept by the Movie Archive and the public Radio and Television.
Anagnosti accused both institutions have manipulated them and the Albanian movies are now found illegally in local and international markets.
Some copyright agencies, normally non-governmental agencies, have returned very little money at the end of the year.
During the communist regime which lasted until 1990, the Albanian movie company Kinostudio produced up to 14 movies a year.
