SARANDA, Nov.20- The “AdriaNet” project, supported by the Interreg 3, is planning to include the coastal town of Saranda with a team of experts from Riccione, Italy, led by Culture Director for the commune of Riccione, Francesco Kavali. Also, the initiator of the collaboration for the twin cites Riccione – Saranda, Pietro Cavalaro, involved in this field for the past 15 years, has agreed to common plans with their Albanian counterparts. The group has identified four main areas of collaboration, including the social initiative to support elders in the day center of Saranda with more efficient promotion of work there. Part of the joint efforts will be to associate the two schools of hospitality and tourism between the towns in order for more exchanges. Francesco Kavali explained that the visit to Saranda was to raise awareness of all the cultural dimensions of the collaboration and enhance the institution’s joint efforts. The activities of the “AdriaNet” project will be finalized with an important event, the Riccione-Saranda Festival, which will be held during the first week of March.
