The international center of culture to be rehabilitated

TIRANA, Feb.27- The international center of culture “Pjeter Arbnori” or as commonly called the pyramid for its peculiar architectural shape will be completely rebuilt and transformed into a proper cultural center with theatres and other spaces to service arts and culture events. The tender for the reconstruction has been won by a consortium of firm led by a Greek company specialized in building theaters. The project has been designed by a Belgian company and carried the signature of well-known designer Louis Berger. The work will be carried on at speed rates as the project is supposed to be wrapped by the end of the year. The funds allocated to this purpose have been approved tow years ago and amount to 6.8 million euro. The space of the center will have to be evacuated by the Top Channel Television who has been renting it out.
