The exhibition of the Albanian artist Artan Shabani has attracted a great deal of attention in the Italian public. The “Roma” Arts Gallery of Siracusa in Sicily of Italy recently opened a personal expo of Shaban’s work called, “At the end of the road of Siracua”. This is the title the artist chose for this latest exhibition opened in Sicily. “Perhaps the artist was inspired by the fact that Siracusa is at the end of the European road, it is like the Farewell Station of Europe, the last port of call of the traveler, beyond which there are other peoples and cultures, but only different to the ones we are accustomed to seeing,” Shaban said to the Italian media. According to local critics, Shaban is a very refined artist with a sensual instinct. (Tirana Times Staff)
