9th Spanish cinema week closes

TIRANA, June 24 – The ninth Spanish cinema week closed on Wednesday evening with the screening of “What I know about Lola.” The movie directed by Javier Rebollo was the winner of last year’s Tirana International Film Festival.
The ‘IX Spanish Cinema Week: Europe on the Screen’ opened on the 17th of June in the framework of the closing events of the Spanish Presidency of the EU in Albania.
Some 5 movies were screened during this edition of the Spanish Film week.
The event was preceded by a jazz concert.
Renowned Spanish Jazz pianist Ignasi Terraza held a concert last week in Tirana to mark the end of the European Union Spanish Presidency. The event, organized by the Spanish embassy in Tirana, also marked the launch of “Europe on screen” held from June 17 to 23 at the Imperial Cinemas, in Sheraton hotel.
