TIRANA, Dec. 6 – Owner of a sports bet shop was murdered Sunday and his cousin was injured by a person who owed him some money.
Police reported that Ferat Isuf Skacaj, 38, was arrested at a house he was hiding after the alleged murder with a knife of Murat Adem Mata, 38, and injuring Petrit Qazim Murati, 39.
Mata owned a sport bet shop and local media reported that Skacaj owed him one million leks from the bets he had set before.
The murder occurred after a quarrel allegedly over that amount of money.
