TIRANA, Oct. 9 – Serb artists Jovan Babic and Goran Denic have opened an exhibition at the Zeta gallery featuring a series of print, mix media and sculpture works.
The exhibition inaugurated this week will remain open until October 18.
Born 1966 in Belgrade, Jovan Babic graduated in sculpture from Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Arts, Belgrade 1995. He creates sculptures out of home-grown herbal materials (gourds, straw, and sorghum). Meanwhile, Goran Denic (1966) graduated in sculpture 1994 from Michaelis School of Fine Art, University of Cape Town.
Since 2007, when Zeta was launched with a personal exhibition by Edi Hila, it has become among the few private galleries with a tight agenda of events focusing on visual arts and young contemporary artists, providing huge contribution to their support and promotion.
