TIRANA, Sept. 20, 2022 – Albania will play a friendly match with the global football superpower Italy in November, Italy’s football federation has announced.

Italy’s national team will travel to the Air Albania Stadium in Tirana for the match scheduled for Nov. 16.

The Azzurri are not in the World Cup in Qatar, so these tests are just to get Roberto Mancini’s men some regular playing time ahead of the long break in domestic competition.

Albania faces UEFA Nations League 2023 Group stage matches against Israel and Iceland this week. It has also scheduled a friendly with Saudi Arabia in October.
