TIRANA, July 19 – Albanian painters from the northern city of Shkodra took part at the 37th international competition of the European Arts Academy in Brussels, Belgium.
Agim Kadillari was the winner, receiving the International Gold Medal for his work “Dawn at Shkodra castle.”
His spouse, Xheneta, was also awarded with the Silver Medal.
Participants were the Kadillari couple, Nikolin Luci, Ikbale Kalaja, Andi Hila, and a group of painters from Kosova. There were 167 painters taking part in the event.
Luci, Kalaja and Hila received the National Gold Medal, and other participants like Liljana ȥfa, Ermira Jahja, Nineta Verbica, Aleksand철Shkodra and Afeida Sheqi were awarded other medals.
