Albanian publishers join in Vlora book fair

TIRANA, April 20 – A book fair bringing together 40 publishers from Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia kicked off on Wednesday in the southern Albanian city of Vlora. This year’s edition of the annual book fair is being organized by the newly founded Society of Albanian Book.
The book fair brings 5,000 book titles, of which 500 new ones which will be on display from April 21 to 24 along the city’s Skela promenade.
Well known writers such as Diana Culi, Ardian Klosi, Pirro Misha, Flutura Acka will be present during the fair to promote their latest publications.
The book fairs in Tirana and Vlora have been traditionally organized by the Albanian Publishers Association which usually holds the book fair in Vlora each August after staging it in Ulcinj, Montengro.
