The ‘Albanian Week’ Fair is an annual event dedicated to Albanian tradition that aims to voice pride over the country’s culture in a variety of artistic fields. This is another celebration organized in the context of Albania’s Independence – the 28th and 29th November holidays. The fair offers over 20 stands that create a colorful picture of Albania’s tradition, culture, ethnography and culinary art.
For this reason, Rogner hotel, hosting the fair, has continuously cooperated with renowned names which represent, create and collect all showcased traditional products.
This year’s fair will bring a ‘Mother Theresa’ exhibition to the public, as well as collections of works by Linda Spahiu, a collection of traditional Albanian music instruments by Ermal Sela, hand-made home decorations and gifts, and authentic Albanian paintings.
The artisanal products will include a collection of silk scarves, souvenirs from the city of Kruja, hand-made jewelry, wooden artisanal work and antique collections of artifacts.
Albania’s culinary scene will be represented by the Komiteti Cafà©-Museum, the Luani and Skà«nderbeu canteens, Morava honey; dairy and meet products will be provided by Klegen and Hako, Albanian biological products by the Silver Spoon, as well as Musai oil and pastry from Rogner.
