ELBASAN, March 7 – Police in the central city of Elbasan arrested five persons who are accused of a murder they have allegedly committed in the neighbouring country of Greece where they lived as immigrants some years ago.
In 2003 prosecutors started the investigation on four of them. Bajram Hila had opened a penal case against them accusing them of killing his son Bilbil Hila while in Greece.
They are accused of beating him to death using iron bars and other items.
This month the court declared them guilty and sentenced them with imprisonment terms from 17 to 20 years.
