TIRANA, Feb. 8 – Anjeza Shahini, the first Albanian representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 will perform in London on the 13th of February during the Balkan Xchange concert, the Eurovision website reports.
Shahini represented Albania in the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest in Istanbul, in the country’s debut in the competition. Her charming performance of the song “The image of you” led her to a 7th place, the best Albanian result ever.
Meanwhile, this year’s Albanian representative, Aurela Gace, has traveled to Los Angeles to record the new version of her song K쯧a ime. Aurela has decided to put her other music projects on hold and in the coming months she will only be focused on the Eurovision Song Contest
